FAQ

How do you come up with all your ideas?

While I would love to say that each and every craft/recipe I do is my own creation, many of them are adaptations of things I've seen on youtube, in magazines or even things that already exist that I put my own spin on. For the creatively impaired youtube would be your best friend, there are so many ideas and tutorials that anyone can be craft savvy.

How do you have the time to do all these things?

In all honesty, most of the projects/recipes take 1/10th of the time you think they would. On average I can bust out a card or scrapbook page in under 5 minutes. Carrying my Gypsy on me really helps too because I can pre-plan cards/page layouts/crafts and save them so all I have to do is plug & print once I get home. For the cooking/baking I will do things in steps if possible, like cookies can be made one day and kept in the fridge until the next to bake.

All that craft stuff has to be expensive, isn't it?

It can be. While the big items, i.e. a Cricut, Gypsy, cartridges, etc, can be very expensive, they are one time costs. With a Cricut you can cut any shape/size die cut you need which will eliminate the need to buy any in the future. Plus you can print titles and run then through a cheap sticker maker and you will never need to buy adhesive letters again. There are so many sales and clearance items that you can get just about anything you need for 1/5th of the retail price if you just keep your eyes open and watch for coupons (Michael's always has one for 40% off almost every week).

Why don't you hold craft classes/crops?

I have thought about it many times, but with working 60+ hours a week, having a toddler, a home to take care of and finding the time to do my own projects, cooking, couponing, etc. it's just not a feasible thing for me at the moment. I am always happy to answer any questions and help in any way I can, I'm just not able to commit to regularly scheduled events at this time.
